King's Preparatory Academy is a K3-8 Judeo-Christian School that uses a blended curriculum to develop the whole child in a life of faith and leadership through the Growth Mindset model. We are preparing students not only for future academia, but life as well. This is a student-centered learning environment based on the biblical worldview. KPA's distinctive curriculum allows for specializations in foreign language, music, or sports under the banner of a Dual Path System©. Along with guidance counseling from the onset, students are educated with rigor and thoughtfulness, by highly qualified instructors, so that every learning modality is developed through intensive study. King's Prep is in the acreditation process through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
Students learning under the Language Path will not only undertake intensive study in English/Language Arts, they will also be exposed to teaching and learning in a foreign language. KPA currently offers four languages to choose from: Spanish, French, German, and American Sign Language. Students will become immersed in the culture of oral and written language in order to prepare students for bilingual careers, study, or global missions.
It's our voice, it's our timeOur Math/Science Path, also known as STEM, takes a more analytical approach to intensive study. Students in this path will take their learning beyond the fundamentals of formulas and expression through investigation of mathematics to the exponential. Our STEM department educators are experts in the field and help reveal mathematics and science in authentic scenarios with real world application. Students problem solve not just for a sum, but for a purpose.
Steaming into our future, nowAs a whole child development center, KPA offers Physical Education as well as Health courses to every student in grades K3-8. We believe healthy living and eating are a necessary part of child education. Therefore, we are excited about our early learning health curriculum, edible gardens, and adaptive PE classes. Students in the Dual Path (grades 4-8) may also specialize in an intramural sports program. Baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, and tennis are currently offered in our intramural programs. KPA also offers after school sports based programs in competitive cheer leading, racquetball and Winter Guard.
